New AMD socket AM2 cooler offered by Thermatlake

Since AMD will publish its new
socket AM2 solution to the public in May 2006,
Thermaltake is also ready to offer thermal solution
to the market at the same time.
This socket AM2 cooler (P/N: CL-P0366) is
designed by using high-density Aluminum fins
soldered with Copper base. In order to enhance its
performance, four heat-pipes are soldered with
aluminum fins. Its thermal performance can meet AMD
Athlon 64 FX level (125W).
Unlike previous metal cam lever Clip,
coolers for socket AM2 is also changed from 3 holes
to single hole to meet new AM2 retention module.
This designation is also convenient to install
without any tools.
The most significant difference for Socket
AM2 is that AMD announce to adopt 4 pin fans in the
thermal module. In this new socket AM2 cooler,
Thermaltake provides new 4 Pin fan with PWM & temp.
Control function to meet the requirement from AMD.
Fan dimension is 70X70X15 and the speed is 5800rpm
at maximum. The 2 ball bearing fan is also reliable
and durable for high-end system.
